Crystal Palace wonderkid David Ozoh has reacted to the untimely injury he suffered in his side's hard-fought 1-0 victory over Derby County on Saturday. The 19-year-old midfielder, who has been one of Palace's standout performers this season, was forced off the pitch in the second half after sustaining an ankle problem.

In a post-match interview, Ozoh expressed his disappointment at missing out on the remainder of the season but vowed to come back stronger.

"It's a tough one to take," Ozoh said. "I was really enjoying my football and feeling like I was making a contribution to the team. But injuries are part of the game, and I'm determined to come back stronger next season."

Ozoh's injury is a blow to Crystal Palace, who are pushing for a top-half finish in the Championship. The teenager has been a key player for Patrick Vieira's side this season, making 20 appearances and scoring three goals.

Despite the setback, Ozoh is confident that Crystal Palace can continue to succeed without him.

"We've got a great squad, and I know the boys will continue to fight for every point," Ozoh said. "I'll be cheering them on from the sidelines and doing everything I can to help them achieve their goals."
